StartApp is a monetization and distribution platform focusing on mobile applications.
We partner with app developers to help them make more money from their free apps through the use of search monetization, a concept we introduced to the mobile world.
We know that most Android app developers aren't generating real revenue from their apps. Current monetization options, such as in-app ads and freemium, result in a bad user experience with no substantial revenue. We are striving to help these developers generate real revenue while improving the user experience of their end users.

Gil Dudkiewicz | Chief Executive Officer
Gil Dudkiewicz, our Founder and CEO, is a serial entrepreneur. Gil was the Entrepreneur In Residence at the Cedar Fund. Prior to this, he was the CEO of SweetIM, which he joined as a pre revenue company with 5 employees and led them to be very profitable, with over 100M download applications and winning the Technology Rising Star Award by D&T Fast 50 Competition during his tenure. SweetIM was acquired by Perion Network (NASDAQ: PERI) on November 2012 for $41 Million. He was also founder and CEO of MyDTV/MeeVee a personalized TV Guide and TV search. Gil holds a MBA from UC Berkeley and B.Sc. in Engineering from the Technion.

Ran Avidan | Chief Technology Officer
Ran is our co-Founder and CTO. Ran is in charge of the research & product development. Beforehand, Ran was Director of Business Innovation Strategy at Amdocs, VP of Products at NewACT (acquired by Amdocs) and held various product and development positions in Followap (acquired by NeuStar). Ran holds a B.Sc. in information systems and an MBA from the Technion.
Itay Rokni | Vice President of Marketing
Itay is our VP of Marketing. Responsibilities include marketing, recruiting, PR and business development activities. Past positions include Director of Online Marketing at SweetIM, which was acquired by Perion Network (NASDAQ: PERI) on November 2012 for $41 Million, founder and CEO of Rosh Creative Ltd., private investor and manager of G10 entrepreneurs club. Holds MBA in Entrepreneurship & Finance from Tel Aviv University and BSc., Industrial Engineering & Management from Ben Gurion University.
Guy Shefer | Vice President of Research & Development
Guy is our VP of Research and Development and is responsible for all of the company's product development and research activities. Guy brings more than 15 years of experience in software development. He has held similar positions at companies including SundaySky (dynamic video solutions), SweetIM (social network and webmail), and Jacada (infrastructure software products). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and management from Tel Aviv University

John Berard | Senior Privacy Officer
John Berard is the Senior Privacy Officer for StartApp. A founding member of the board of TRUSTe, today a leading global privacy management solutions provider, John is currently a member and has served on the board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He has previously worked for large U.S.-based public relations agencies counseling companies large and small and before joining StartApp, served as the CEO of a privacy focused advertising software and services start-up.

Keren Ofek | Vice President of Finance
Keren is our VP of Finance. Keren is in charge of all the financial management aspects of the company, providing leadership and management in strategic business planning, accounting and budgeting models. Prior to StartApp, Keren was the VP of Finance at Kontera, Director of Finance at Shunra software and Manager at Ernst & Young. Keren is a CPA (Israel) and holds a MBA (Cum Laude)specializing in Economics and BA in Management and Accounting from the College of Management Academic studies

Keren is our Legendary office manager and our go-to person for pretty much anything. From organizing fun activities to handling all of the office finance, she juggles it all!
